Pics @ Aunt's house!

Hehehe, this post will be filled with pictures I/my sis has taken while we were staying in our Aunt's house from 16th Dec to 19th Dec!

Got! 40! Enough a not? Lol~
But is random photos la, so... Hehehehe =p

Just in case you don't get it, those that I "" is like things that you MAY think/say.
Lol, don't think that I keep talking to myself already hor!

OKAY, so first day, my sis and I took the train all the way to serangoon.
As we wanted to make it a surprise, we didn't inform our Aunt and by the time we reach serangoon it's lunch time already.
Therefore, knowing that our Aunt did not prepare any lunch for us, we decided to eat at NEX.



After walking here and there (and my mei finally bought her mondo shoes, sponsored), we decided to try Carls Junior!
Yes, I know, a bit make no sense since JP has Carls Junior....
"Want try why don't try at JP go all the way to NEX?"
Cause food in NEX are generally quite expensive (restaurants) and like other fast food outlets we tried before already.

My mei went for grape (F&N grape) while I went for the Ice tea.
Regret not pouring more sugar syrup... *sigh*

I forgot what burger I ordered there, I only remember I ordered a set (burger + fries + drinks).
And I can't remember how the burger taste like... (ya la, forgetful sugarcane. You should have knew it, shouldn't you? Hehe =p)
BUT! I know the fries are awesome!!
By awesome I mean placing the fries exposed in the air for several hours (like afternoon till night) and despite it being cold it still taste nice.
Like really! Cause the fries is quite a lot and we can't finish it so we dragged until night then managed to finish it.
Can fight with Macdonalds already, lol~

However, the appearance of the fries may make you think that it will not be nice (at least I did).
Why?
It's thick cut fries...
I always thought that thin fries taste better than thick fries cause the thick fries I ate all lose to thin fries.
That's why when the fries came I did not have much hope in it, plus there are some skin (real potato skin) on the fries, so, ya....



And TA-DA, the fries!

As they predicted that having potato skin on the fries may scare some customers, they wrote something like "Don't worry, we are just showing some skin" on the fries packaging!
Cute huh? Ahahaha~

Ok, I think I remember what burger I ordered already!

Decided to paint my toe nails out of boredom.
The colour nice right? Hehehe
It's from The Face Shop (scream, zq!). I bought it in malaysia because there is a freaking 70% off for it!

And in case you don't know, despite having no computer nor internet access in my Aunt's house, I managed to stay online!

18th Dec, cousin came to visit Aunt, and my sis decided to go on a photo spree...
First up, pictures of my Aunt!

Ok, anyway, will you even believe me if I say that she is around 60 years old??
No right? See the first picture, her skin is still in very good condition!
And in fact, sad to say, it's better than mine!! *cries at one corner*
My dad (aunt = dad's older sister) also look younger than he actually is!
So, it runs in the family! *prays that I kana the genes too!*

Although her house is small, it's very comfy and clean!
Plus her house always got this nice smell which my sis and I conveniently called it "姑姑家的味道"
And our clothes washed by my aunt will have that smell!

Basically we just lay three beds on the floor and each of us (my sis, my aunt and I) will occupy one bed!

Actually I have a picture of my sis with my Aunt but she happened to see my this post in construction .
When she saw the pictures she demand that I take the picture down because she thinks that she looks fat in that pic.
So, there is nothing I can do....

To sis: Wear more tight clothes! It really makes you look slimmer!

But I am quite okay with the hair except that it curl upwards, like 翘起来 one....

See, I love huayi so much, lol~

I know there are people out there who will find it a waste to snip off my long hair. (MY SIS!)
Because there are people who are envious of my hair (still my sis!) because it's long, smooth and all.
I know, a bit bhb of me to say that.
But since that hair is gone, just let me be shameless once la!

I used to be quite proud of my hair, really!
Cause it's nice la, and it's not like only I think it's nice.
Everytime people praise my hair I would feel happy! Like there is something on me that I can be proud of, something that people would love to have it but they don't.

However, I wanted a change.
Like a change to mark a new beginning (was wanting to do it on 1st jan but was too lazy. No motivation, lol~)
Then aloe asked if I want to cut hair with her, so i agreed! =D

Actually, not really....
It wasn't as heartbreaking as I thought leh.
Just, the fact that my hair grows freaking slowly make me hesitated a bit

Because I was in a rush to buy dinner back for my sis if not her stomach will be flat (肚子扁掉）, I actually rushed out of the shop WITHOUT PAYING!

Then I sms-ed wy saying sorry and all that, then she replied saying that she didn't realise until I sms-ed her!

I paid her on monday (10/1)!

Countdown, the sims way

Hello people!
Yes! Sugarcane is back!! *jumps around in joy*

I am typing this with a straight face again...

So today, I am gonna blog about countdown!

If not I will continue to think nobody reads my blog (although it's not like a lot reads my blog) and will think that I am a girl who constantly talks to herself in her blog and then get depressed and then close the blog.

Ya, cannot?
Okok, countdown, countdown, HAPPY?!

Ok, I am still like a girl who constantly talks to herself....
So, I came back home at around 11pm, thinking that this countdown will just be like any other...
Watch the countdown on channel 8 and shout "5, 4, 3, 2, 1" alone (cause no way my daddy will do that) and then spam in fb and twitter "happy new year"...

Me: "Daddy, I am back to countdown with you!"
*silence*
Daddy: "Countdown with me for what?"
I know, I tweeted this.
But this is to show how un-excited daddy is for countdown, and how it's like I confirm, guarantee plus chop will not have an awesome countdown with my dad.
However.....
My daddy suggested to go to the basketball court near our house!

I know, in your head now is full of question mark cause you have never saw this before.
Well, this is sort of a traditional toy.
See that stick with the rubber band there?
You use it and shoot the thing on the right (will be referred as "thingy" for the rest of the post) up into the sky, and it will fall, spinning, with the "wings" becoming helicopter-like!

And because it works like rubber band shooting, and some of you might have kana-ed before, when you shoot with rubber band, sometimes the rubber band end up hurting yourself.
I had quite a few times whereby the thing hit my hand, causing my left hand to have some minor injury. Pictures later.

And then we started to see who shoot the highest!
Ok, for this, no matter how hard I tried, I still cannot win my daddy! D=
He even taught me how to shoot you know?!
We are using the same damn shooting method leh!
We exchanged the thingy (with wings one) and even exchanged the rubber band to see whether it's because of the thingy, or the skill.
It's skill. I cannot win him!!! D=

Then randomly, I looked up.
Me: "不知道如果从很高，好像从十一楼射下来会是怎样的。。。"
Daddy: "你要不要试试看？我去十一楼射下来。"

I know, it's quite hard to see the thing.
Just try to focus on the purplish light.
But it's quite pretty when it falls down, just when it is very high up there, I can hardly see it.

The basketball court we played at is the RC (resident's committee), and there is sort of a mini countdown party there (consisting of one TV with the channel 8 countdown and another TV for karaoke)
My dad is an RC member (vice-chairman leh~ Lol) and there is another RC member there with her daughter
Being so forever good to other people's children, my dad gave his friend's daughter one of the thingy, in yellow!
Not being jealous or complaining here, at least he compares us to his friends' children less often already...



And this is the little girl! With her mother aka my dad's friend behind her!
Lol, she initially wanted to shoot, but she spotted my camera and decided not to!
So cute~ Camera shy, haha.
Then I told her that her face won't be seen (it's real right? It's quite dark and my hp camera is being shitty again)
And she shot! LOL~

And then after competing for a few rounds, my dad shoot the thingy again and managed to catch it as it falls!
As we are tired of constantly picking the thingy up after we shoot (Ok la, not we, is him, cause it's mostly him who pick them up =p), we decided to play it this way!
Shoot it up, and catch it! It's more fun playing this way!

I know, not obvious/don't look serious.
But, imagine hitting myself with that thingy can hit until got injury.
That totally shows how many times I shot myself on the hand... D=

OH! I have one interesting thing to tell you guys!!

Remember the countdown party in the RC I mentioned earlier?
Well, when I looked at my watch (yes, I have a watch! =D) and saw that it is going to be 12am soon, I suggested that we go inside the RC and like countdown with them.
But, we are a tad too late.
When we got in, everybody was like "1! Happy new year!"
Wa lao.... Lol~

I CUT MY HAIR TODAY!! SHOULDER LENGTH, BUT IT TURNED OUT QUITE SHORT!

Baking cookies

HELLO!
Sugarcane is here to update again!

On 14th Dec last year, bh and I decided to visit yx, wy, ah ma and vic at work!
Also known as 探班，lol.

I remember chasing one 154, but I missed it still.
Little did I expect that vic, bh and ah ma are all on that bus D=
So in the end I had to wait for another 154 while sweating away (cause I ran) in the hot sun, alone!

And I was late, the latest one out of 7 people!
Even yx is earlier than me! DDD=

Then....
We walked to their workplace.

We entered the place, which is bloody freaking BIG!
There are SUPER A LOT of things there!
Like yx said, it's a cooking paradise!
You can find almost EVERYTHING about cooking there!

One department that really captured my attention is the cups.
"Huh?! What's wrong with you?"
If YOU went there and see how bloody freaking pretty those cups are there, you won't say this.
Really, the cups there are SO pretty!
I actually THOUGHT of buying one home or give people as present you know?!
But.... Tight budget plus I am a clumsy sugarcane.
I scared the cups will "piang" in my hands D=

Then after walking, we went to the Bake & Go section to look for ying xiang!
After some talking, bh and I decided to share one can of cookie dough and bake cookies together!

There were three flavours available, strawberry, vanilla and chocolate.
I am not a fan of strawberry, or should I say, I don't like strawberry.
The fruit itself and anything strawberry-flavoured
And vic strongly discourage vanilla, therefore we chose chocolate!

We also got to choose the toppings, peanuts and chocolate chips
Me no like peanuts, therefore, chocolate chips won! Lol~

So below will be all the "aw lu lu" (black) cookies, lol =p




And this is out work station!
We got to choose because we are like the only ones there, lol.
The can on the left hand side of the picture is the can of dough!

First step, was to kneed the dough.
I was the one who kneed the dough.
I even took the dough up and like throw it into the pail/container/whatever you call it
Hehehehe!
Hey, I am not the only one hor!
Yx said some other customers did it too!!

我只是有样学样！
要怪就怪电视吧~ =p

And the next step of course is to shape the dough!
Initially we both have totally no idea on what shapes to do.
Then I went to try to spell "happy plants" while bh tries to do her heart
But I gave up halfway, not enough dough D=
Instead, I decided to do the plants, as in like the plant itself, the shape.
I did 7 out of the 8 plants, with baohui doing the potato (chip), lol~

Even after the plants are done, we still have quite a lot of dough left.
After some discussion with yx, bh and another staff there, bh made a dice and I think that's all?
I did the mickey, donut and ball, lollll

After shaping, the second last step is to decorate them with the chocolate chips!
And we were lucky, cause the previous customer left some nuts, so we got to use the nuts as well!

And we decorate and decorate.....
We took quite a long time, like really!
But good thing is that we are the only customers there, so, we can take as long as we want, no need to rush =p

And....

Last step of course is pop it into the oven and bake la!
Lol~~
And while waiting for it, bh and I went to the bistro there to eat lunch

So pretty and creative, isn't it?

The fish and chips is mine, the fries are baohui's
The fish and chips don't look much, but trust me, it's bloody filling!
I feel so full after eating it! But it's quite nice! =D

And after eating, we went back to check out our cookies! =D

Making the plants look less like what they are supposed to be...

My mickey don't know why blended into a I don't know what....
And baohui's dice, the dice she spent so much time, deflated!
It was initially up and standing, really 3-D dice, but after a "sauna" in the oven, it became like a pancake, a mini one, lol~

But still, as least it presentable la.
Not bad for first timers already! =D

And zq was happy cause hers is like one of the biggest in the plants.

We gave the onion to ah ma, carrot to yx (she is the first one to eat the cookies), aloe to wanyi, potato chips to vic.
So the only one that didn't get to receive her cookie is zhenqi cause hers was not with me (ZQ, GO TAKE FROM AH BU! Lol)

The cookies a bit soft in the inside, because we made it too thick.
When we are making them, yx told us not to make it too thin, and we followed her advice and... *sigh*
Lol, nvm nvm, next time do thinner can le =D

Not much excitement, really...
If it's in the past I would be ranting how much I don't want to go school and blah blah blah like some (no, most. No, ALL!) of my juniors would be doing now.
Yes, evil senior to the action!

But....
Now I sorta miss school...
Cause you have nothing to anticipate now.
No events, no taking-bus-together-on-school-outing (I like that feeling, really! And it's not only recently, I have ALWAYS liked that feeling)...
Kayaking, swimming, ranting how much you hate the school, how you wish to pon certain class/events.....
No more.....

Wa lao, become emo post liao!!

Okokok, no more emo, ok?

Good.

So, it's a brand new year!
And I hope I can have a brand new life! (yes, my life = lifeless now)
The one I want.
But I have been talking about it since so long ago....
Less than 1/4 of what I promised myself before o levels, what motivated me during the hard times are fulfilled...

Okok, no emo.

So, here are my wishlist!

- New hair! (yes, still thinking. Can't help la =p)
Perm and cut fringe (bangs, act cute, i know) and cut hair (SHORT!) and dye (I am thinking twice about the super black now...)!
But of course, I will do them one by one.
Cause given my hair condition now, if I do them ALL at one go, my hair will be fried!
Literally like 杂草！ D=

- SHOPPING!!! (bugis, far east / spree)

what what what? I HARDLY ever shopped since O level ended you know?
